I started working at Parkrose High School during the 2003-04 school year. My first year teaching was as a full-time Business Teacher.  I taught Introduction to Business, Marketing, Finance, Business Law, Personal Finance, and Entrepreneurship.  At the end of my first year of teaching, I had the opportunity to apply for the Activities Director position.

For the last 10 years I have Advised the Leadership program at Parkrose High School.  In taking on the responsibility of Activities Director, I have had to cut down the number of Business Classes offered at the high school.  My current course load has me teaching classes in Marketing, Business Leadership, Money 101 (Personal Finance) and Leadership.  I also have found time to run the Future Business Leaders of America Club, and assist with the Mens Golf Team.

Recently I was surprised by my Leadership students at 2013 Spring Leadership Conference.  I was awarded the 2013 Oregon Association of Student Councils Activities Advisor of the Year Award.  I was so honored that my students took the time to nominate me for this amazing recognition.

In my free time, I love traveling with my wife Ashley, and our dog Ebony (Black Lab).  I enjoy camping, wood working, and recently built a 1960's style Dune Buggy.
